Made with Hatch
Yupa’s art portfolio
@Yupa designed a creative portfolio that so aptly reflects them as a multidisciplinary artist. From sharing the stills of their analog photography to the animated mixed media work they’ve crafted, their work is presented so well. The salon gallery style of showcasing their work allowed them to curate their work in a meaningful way. The way they filled their homepage with strips of content instead of a navigation bar is especially powerful. Overall, we had so much fun seeing the artwork in their portfolio and we can’t wait to see what else they create.
Acetaminophen’s book release announcement
@Acetaminophen is back on Hatch with an exciting announcement! They are releasing a book about LGBTQIA+ architects and designers, and we couldn’t be more here for it. Though they’re @acetaminophen on Hatch, their name is A.L Hu. From their interdisciplinary approach to architecture and design to their strides they’ve made in social justice, their work always amazes us. In addition to the digital experiences and artwork we’ve seen them make on Hatch, this Hatch webpage promoting their new book is so well crafted. From the navigation bar on the bottom of the page, to the pages showing up below the fold… this is just so well designed. This page is a pre-release announcement for their book, where you can pre-order it and find out about the work as well as the events surrounding it. You bet we’re going to read it.
Klaude’s show digital flyer
@Klaude is back again with another digital show flyer! Their graphics and links are so sleek. When you hover over the links in the middle of the page, you may notice that the green border ever so slightly brightens. What a subtle and impactful touch! It’s small things like that interactivity that can really enhance the experience. The photos in their slideshow are powerful too. Digital means of promotion are a great way to promote events and to disseminate necessary information. It’s more accessible for others to find than IRL cafe corkboards and flyers posted outside. It’s also just genuinely fun to explore. A physical flyer can’t play music. Online, you’re a button away from listening to their tunes!
Different Kind of Dough’s links page
Presenting @differentkindofdough’s links page! We’re thoroughly impressed by the art collective’s collaboration and multimedia artwork. They band together musicians, visual artists, content producers, writers, and so many more individuals with so many more hats. Though this is a links page, it’s also an announcement for their new music video. Below their logo, you can view and watch the music video. You can then scroll to see a vector image of some of the collective’s members. We always love seeing the collective’s different links pages and promotional pages, and look forward to see and hear whatever they create next. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for new tracks and content by them!
Between wonder’s interactive art
This interactive artwork by @betweenwonders, AKA Freya, is a Hatch classic. We just had to show it off because it’s just as mesmerizing as it is bold and edgy. It’s still one of the Hatch team’s favorite pieces of work. The intro utilizes the draggable effect so you can drag around this chrome hand panic. Then the surreal magic ensues. This piece really feels like a visual interactive story that meanders through space. By the last space, you get to Freya’s links to their social media accounts. What a great way to introduce people to what you’re all about thAn showing them a window into your imagination.
